The balconies of Highbank Log Cabin, Lakeside Log Cabin and Keepers Log Cabin overlook the lakes (Meadowbank Log Cabin and Belvedere Log Cabin are set down from the lakes in the meadow). Only a short walk to a sandy beach with views over the bay towards Looe Island. Looe is a historic Cornish fishing port with quaint streets, cafes, restaurants, Inns, lots of shops, harbour, river, sandy beach, hidden coves and island. Just a 3 minute drive to Looe. Nearby is Polperro, which is a picturesque Cornish fishing village with traditional white painted cottages overlooking the harbour, famed for its history of smuggling & fishing. The heritage museum at Polperro has old photos and exhibits.
This unique valley location is perfect for a holiday with three log cabins set lakeside and two in the beautiful Cornish countryside. The valley is a privately owned and the proprietor is a keen conservationist. This is not like a commercial site, the grounds around the cabins are not neatly manicured for modern effect. The site is distinctly rustic adding to the natural charm of the valley, for example the owner lets things like the nettles grow for the butterflies to enjoy a natural habitat. There are also chickens & ducks roaming freely around the lakes & grounds.
